Seeing lots of pictures of the Big Top from last years event around?  Must be time to make it all happen again!

There’s been lot of activity behind the scenes over the summer preparing the programme for the Castle Vale Festival 2014.  We’ve tried to give you the best of last year, some new things in the programme as well try and make sure there’s enough wow to build on last years event.

Look out for some very exciting news, great competitions and ways to get involved.  First things to think about is whether you’re up for getting involved as a performer in the Closing Ceremony, or help out as a Vale Maker volunteer or to get thinking about what could be your creation in the Great Castle Vale Bake Off!  Yes that’s right we’re bringing the baking frenzy to Castle Vale and we need people to bring their cake creations and maybe you’ll win a special prize.

The revamped Year of Celebration website and new web page for the Castle Vale Festival 2014 has gone live over the last 24 hours so look at the programme details there and more will go up over the next few days.  Plus visit the new AACV Facebook Page, like us, share with your friends and tell us which events you’re attending.

19 days to go and lots for you to get involved in, so make sure you’ve put the dates in your diary: Friday 19th and Saturday 20th September.

There’ll be something added to the website regularly between now and the festival so do keep checking the updates so you don’t miss out and follow this blog or/and the Year of Celebration blog to get emails direct to your inbox.

So check out the exciting plans and look out for some very exciting announcements.
