We should have done this ages ago, so we thought we ought to share with you our strategic plan. A huge amount of effort has gone in to clarify what we should do bring arts alive in Castle Vale. Click here to read the whole document.

To raise awareness, knowledge and appreciation of arts in the residents of Castle Vale
through access to arts as both audiences and participants. • To engage residents in arts activity that is challenging, transformational and of high
quality. • To use arts activity to reach residents who may not usually engage with arts and to bring
people together in collective enterprise who may not normally interact; prioritising
engagement of young people. • To build confidence, self-esteem, aspiration, creative and practical skills in residents
through taking part in making and delivering creative activity. • To support the development of new artistic leaders and creators. • To raise the profile of Castle Vale as a community engaged and empowered by the arts. • To work in partnership with arts and non-arts organisations in Castle Vale and
Birmingham who share in our vision and aims.
