Castle Vale will proudly celebrate the achievements of a number of its residents at the second annual Community Awards on Friday 24th October. The Awards, which are designed to recognise and pay tribute to the outstanding contribution of locals across a range of categories, will be held at the Residents’ Club in Farnborough Road from 7pm onwards. Nominations have been open to the public over the past weeks and residents are eagerly awaiting the announcement of this year’s winners.
The evening, which is free, promises top entertainment from local comedienne, Jo Enwright, who will be acting as compere for the night. Jo, originally from Erdington, is a star of C4’s Lab Rats and of the touring circuit.
