Through the Eyes of a Child

Friday 11th July sees the culmination of the ‘Through the Eyes of the Child’ community poetry project and competition with an event at Pegasus Primary School, Turnhouse Road, Castle Vale. The evening, which begins at 7pm, will include poetry readings and performances by professional and community poets, music, artwork, and a theatre performance by Big Brum Youth Theatre. Charlie Jordan, Birmingham’s own Poet Laureate will also be on hand to present competition winners with their prizes.

Tickets cost £2 and £1 and are available on the door. Come and support Castle Vale’s budding writers and local young talent.
